Call to Order
Irv Deines called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm
Pledge
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the Unites Sates was recited by all present.
Minutes
The Minutes of the August membership meeting were read and accepted as read
Treasures Report
The Treasurers Report was read by Pat Weber
Motion to accept by: Art Silver
2nd to that motion by: Alan Chicon
The treasurers report will stand as read / corrected.
Correspondence
Pat Weber (the mail mistress) had several magazines and loading manuals for members to “latch onto” if anyone was interested.
Committee Reports
4-H: Laird Peale The Children did very well this year. Laird wants to retire as contact person, as soon as the club can find a replacement for him (ha ha). Also Laird reported that the 4-H would like to join the OMGC as an organization. Laird was told that the OMGC bylaws do not allow for organization memberships, so that is not possible.
Light Rifle: Alan Chicon reports on the September 10th match. There were five shooters and $12.00 was turned into the club treasury.
High Power: Report submitted by Jeff Howard and was read by Dean Blanck. There were five shooters with a total of $10.00 turned into the club treasury.
Benchrest: The benchrest people apparently are not using the range on their scheduled days.
Old Business
Open Sight in Days will run from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm on the scheduled days. Alan chicon, Irv Deines Art Silver, Pat and Russ Weber, Phil Born all pledged to work various days on this project.
Work Day : We need some aluminum flashing to fix the roof on the target shed a good number of persons said that they would be present to finish this project.
Dean Blanck noted to the membership present that: Match Directors have final say during a scheduled match regarding additional shooters being allowed to shoot, outside of the match.
