ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
November 21, 2017
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 12 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the October Meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded and passed to accept the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: An email from Hank Mlinarich, a Club member who is selling the target rifles belonging to the Club, detailing progress on these sales was received. Three rifles remain to be sold. A copy of the email is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: None.
OLD BUSINESS: The Club can get as many 10-foot-long power poles as we need to protect the new Target Shed from Grand Valley Power, at no cost. The Club is responsible for transporting these poles and a short discussion followed on timing to move the poles from 23 Road to the Range. Tom Mathews, Chairman of the BOD reported on the cost of the Club erecting a sign on the right of way on 32 Road. It would cost $250.00 per year, per sign, plus other requirements. No action was taken.
NEW BUSINESS: The holes in the ceiling insulation in the Target Shed have been repaired. The 2017 Audit Committee was appointed, consisting of Eric Kjeldgaard, Jon Kobylars, and Erb Dines. The Nominating Committee for 2017 will be Tom Mathews, Allan Chicon, and Russ Weber. The annual e-file report to the Colorado Secretary of State was completed by Tom Mathews. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes. The total cost for the new Target Shed and site work was $26,400.00. There was discussion on what to do with the old shed and movement of its contents to the new one. The flag pole has been purchased and the Warranty received. It is attached to and made a part of these minutes.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 8:11 PM by the President.
