ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
December 19, 2017
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 9 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the November, 2017 Members Meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as corrected.
TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded, and passed to accept the Report. The Treasurer also presented a corrected Report for October, 2017. A copy of the November Report is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: A Certificate of Liability Insurance from Savage Arms Inc was received. It is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The Nominating Committee reports that all current officers have agreed to serve another year.
OLD BUSINESS: The free power poles from Grand Valley Power were transported to the range and placed in positions to protect the new building. Art Bennett, Tom Mathews and Russ Weber did the work.
NEW BUSINESS: Nominations for Club Officer positions were opened to the floor. There were none forthcoming, and the slate of current officers was elected by acclamation. Elected were, Eric Kjeldgaard, President, Jon Kobylarz, Vice President, Art Bennett, Treasurer, and Jeff Howard, Secretary. The Board of Directors will hold the Annual BOD Meeting on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Club House. Any Club Member is invited to attend. There are still several potential requests for Range use and the 2018 Club Calendar will be completed and available. It will also be posted on the Club’s website, and on the 2018 News Letter. There are missing shingles on the North Range Toilets, and Russ Weber will supply replacements, but we will need some roofing nails. The wheel on the main gate is failing and will need replacement. The feet used for holding target frames for the members use are disappearing. Club Members are reminded they are Club property and not to be removed from the Range.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 8:01PM by the President.
