ORCHARD MESA GUN CLUB MEMBERS MEETING
May 21, 2019
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the Vice President, Jon Kobylarz. There were 9 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.
MINUTES: The Minutes of the April 2019 Members Meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as read.
TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by Tom Matthews in the absence of the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded and passed to approve the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
CORESPONDENCE: Tom Matthews presented a letter to the 4H shooters requesting participation at the June 15th Workday at the Range painting various things. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: There were 10 shooters at the May Rim Fire Bench Rest Match and $30.00 was turned in to the Club. There were 5 shooters at the May High Power Match and $15.00 was turned in. There were 4 shooters at the May Rim Fire Postal Match and $12.00 was turned in.
OLD BUSINESS: There were 135 youngsters at our BB gun shooting range at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Outdoor Heritage Day. There were more than 8 people who helped set up, manage, and take down the Range.
NEW BUSINESS: Tom Matthews reports he may have a person who can make supports for the 2 steel targets currently at the South end of the 300-yard line. Tom will get pricing for this. It was moved, seconded and passed to allocate $100.00 for this project. Tom Matthews reports that Mesa County has incorrectly assessed our property. Tom will attempt to get this corrected.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members, the Meeting was adjourned at 7:56 PM by the Vice President.
