October 20, 2020

CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM by the President, Eric Kjeldgaard. There were 13 members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.

MINUTES: The Minutes of the September 2020 Meeting were read by the Secretary and approved as corrected.

TREASURERS REPORT: The Treasurers Report was given by the Treasurer. It was moved, seconded, and passed to approve the Report. A copy is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.

CORESPONDENCE: None.

COMMITTEE REPORTS: A $20.00 donation was received at the Public Sight In Days. The Rimfire Benchrest match had 6 shooters and $18.00 was turned in.

OLD BUSINESS: The failed ceiling of the Storage Shed has been repaired. The insulation was salvaged and replaced in the ceiling, a double layer of material was placed to hold it and the entire ceiling was drywalled. The Club will attempt to get some reimbursement from Clery Building for our cost. There was poor attendance at the Public Sight In Days, despite very good weather. The Club did receive a $20.00 donation, however. The Club will try to rent a tractor and brush hog to aid in weed control on our Ranges. A magnetic dry erase board has been purchased for mounting on the North side of the Target Shed on the North Range. It will have a plastic cover over it to protect it from the elements. Eleven people signed in for the Workday, but more were probably attending. Weeds were uprooted and placed in the pit behind the 50-yard berm on the North Range for burning in the Spring.

NEW BUSINESS: The Nominating Committee was appointed. Tom Matthews, Alan Chicon and Vern Bakker are members. The adjacent property purchased for building a group home has now been put up for sale for $90,000.00. The property West of the North Range, between the Range and 32 Road has also been purchased.

ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the members the Meeting was adjourned at 8:06 PM by the President.

Respectfully submitted,

Jeff Howard, Secretary
